is one of the largest car buying/selling sites. You can buy
new and used cars, post a for sale ad, pick up an insurance
quote, etc. The affiliate program pays a generous $5 on every
vehicle ad, but only $2 when somebody completes a detailed
form because they are ready to purchase a car. You
must be resident in the US or Canada to participate in this
program.
Payout: Autoweb.com will pay $5 per vehicle ad placed
on their site (ad costs $19.95) and $2 per purchase request
(purchase requests are free). Payment is quarterly, within 30
days of the end of a quarter. Note that you must earn a
minimum of $100 in a quarter; lower amounts are rolled over
until the next pay period.

CarPrices.com

Review: CarPrices.com
offers lots of free and paid services, from pricing your
existing vehicle to providing insurance quotes and financing.
Their affiliate program is well-developed, and offers
real-time tracking of results.
Payout: CarPrices offers affiliates 50% of the
generated revenue from CarPrices.com. Now, don't carried away.
They have set up a “bounty system” with partners such as
AutoVantage, Progressive Insurance, Warranty Direct and
Automotive.com, etc. This means that CarPrices.com is paid a
bounty fee for referred leads. Thus you will only earn 50% of
what CarPrices earns from their partner sites. It takes 30
days to receive a lead report from AutoVantage, Progressive
Insurance, etc. which is why an estimate of your revenues is
provided on the stats page.
None of the
amounts in the payments table come anywhere near this
percentage. Different amounts, mainly in the range 7%-11%. A
cookie is set; visitors who return within 12 months will
generate further payments. Payment is made quarterly.
